Thanks to HGTV and the popularity of Chip and Joanna Gaines, we are all familiar with farmhouse style. Light, airy and open, this style has become synonymous with the term shiplap. Its design adds compliments to the light and airy-theme needed to accomplish the true farmhouse-style home by allowing fresh air to travel through the spaces and create a natural flow of the functional living spaces.
